A Congress for Us
Pick Your Party
All Black People are not the same. We are not a uniform group that all share the exact beliefs, goals, or aims for our future. In creating this Congress, we have developed parties that bring together individuals with similar ideological views.
Conservative
The Garvey House
A caucus that’s built on the acceptance of Black Individuality. This group is brought together by it’s member’s embrace of the alternative options available to them. This caucus focuses primarily on bringing Black labor, consumers, manufactures, and service providers together in an effort to redirect supply lines to enrich Black Individuals at every step. This house is all about conserving the individuality of the black identity, the maintenance and growth of the Black Dollar, and taking control of the Black Cultural Identity.
Moderate
The Du Bois House
A caucus of Black Individuals dedicated to representing our voices and positions on education and within the arts. This house is composed of Black & African Americans interested in developing a unified voice for our community with the academic, medical, and cultural affairs of the world.
Liberal
The Washington House
A caucus comprised of Black individuals primarily focused on politics, trade, industry, and providing a voice to individuals within the workforce. This collective organizes to develop actionable legislative initiatives to be implemented using the political voice of its members in domestic, international, Economic, and Political spheres.

Being Of Service
As a Non-Profit organization, the Let’s Define Progress Conference engages in providing educational opportunities to Black men. Through our outreach, we administer accredited certification courses in a number of fields by certified instructors. We help develop basic knowledge and skills for Black men looking for opportunities.
Networking With Purpose
We work with Black Entrepreneurs to identify products and materials they purchase to provide their product or service and connect them with Black Manufacturers and distributors directly. We educate our members on avenues to cut out middlemen and reduce markup. We lobby for better access to markets where we are able to take part in commerce with Black & African individuals worldwide.
More Than Activism
With education always being at the forefront of our actions we dedicate significant resources to ensuring that our members are aware of their power within their local governments. Our organization identifies political talent and supports individuals’ aspirations towards holding office. We take part in the conversation regarding local and state government.
Social Initiatives
Controlling the Narrative
Education is always our primary directive. With this in mind, LDP provides skills training to Black producers, film editors, directors, storytellers, and talent. We provide them with the tools to create content that’s from black experiences, fun, and relatable. To assist we produce content developed across many genres ranging from Home & Garden, Travel series’, opinion news, and more showing us as we want to be seen.
Coordinating Progress
Not since the Civil rights era has there been a renewed focus on social justice like there is today. However, we now have the issue of activism for the sake of activism, and an overabundance of organizations without actionable plans for a path forward. The LDP Conference welcomes individuals and organizations alike to the table to better organize operations

Creating Our Own Lane
Protesting With Purpose
Utilizing the time-tested tool of protesting is an integral part of the Let’s Define Progress Conference’s identity. In an effort to achieve measurable results from the immense amount of time and effort put into the process we do so with specific legislation or local ordinance changes already in mind and already on paper.
Managing Our Market
African Americans receive the least amount of direct marketing out of every community in the nation. African American men are the least understood group of consumers that for the most part direct the $1.5 trillion dollars of buying power held by our community. Let’s Define Progress conducts audits on various market actors and players to ascertain the number of Black Dollars being spent with various companies versus the amount of wealth it provides to Black and African people in relation to wages, value for service/product, direct investment, and other factors.
Finding Common Ground
We focus on connecting with members of the community regardless of race or party allegiance with the hope of finding common ground. By claiming our own voices and speaking for ourselves in matters of local and state government we are better suited to act as a bridge between progress and stagnation instead of simply as a pawn who doesn’t take part in discussions of merit.
Polling On Our Issues
The Let’s Define Progress Conference conducts polling operations outside of our general conferences to better understand the needs and wants of the community it hopes to serve. We also conduct various polls on products, service providers, and professionals to more adequately align Black Consumers with Black Businesses and professionals.
