The 14th amendment abolished slavery within the United States “except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction”. There’s a belief that the expulsion from their neighborhoods through economic annexation is a good thing for them. $15+ Minimum Wage

In the year 1960 the minimum wage was $1.00. Adjusted for inflation, that number would be $10.52 in 2021. The minimum wage has not been raised since 2009 and the current plan for $15 wont be fully implemented until years after it’s passed. We support a plan that goes beyond $15 an returns minimum wage’s purchasing power to the level it was originally meant to be.
